Who’s your Lola? Is an inspirational comedy with light drama about a scary old woman, Lola Pina, who ends up inspiring two Filipino-American children about the history and culture of the Philippines. The two children, who were once resistant about Filipino culture, learn to appreciate more the importance of Family and relationships, Religion and faith, and most importantly Culture and heritage after multiple episodes of flashback memories with Lola Pina and her big black Photo Album. This heart-warming and wholesome play will surely make you laugh but also touch your hearts. It will reunite the gaps between generations and hope to kill the stereotypes that we all seem to find hard to change. It will also spread awareness about the culture and tradition of the Filipino community in conjunction with the modern American lifestyle. It’s an event you don’t want to miss!
